6:30-7:00 AM: Our team will pick you up from your hotel bright and early. Ensure your equipment and luggage are in order before the journey begins.
Next, we'll drive you 15 kilometers from Sapa to reach the Fansipan Park Ranger’s Station, nestled at 1,900 meters above sea level, marking the starting point for our trek.
Fansipan Mountain boasts a rich ecosystem, featuring an impressive 2,024 floral species and 327 distinct fauna. The challenging ascent typically spans around 5-6 hours.
During the hike, you'll traverse through lush primary deciduous and evergreen forests, following the path of crystal-clear mountain streams while navigating windswept ridges. Short breaks along the way will afford you breathtaking panoramic vistas. As you climb, the forest landscapes will transform with the increasing altitude. Expect to use both your hands and legs to conquer rock cliffs, climb ladders, and navigate the jungle. Each summit reveals stunning vistas, immersing you in the natural beauty of the forest and its inhabitants.
Around 1:00-2:00 PM: You'll triumphantly conquer the summit of Fansipan, where you can savor your achievement. Take a 40-minute lunch break, capture unforgettable moments, and relish the sense of victory at the peak. On fortunate days with clear skies, witness the magnificent sunrise from the summit of Fansipan.
After absorbing the awe-inspiring scenery on Vietnam's highest point, descending via cable car is a sensible choice, especially after the demanding trek to the summit, when exhaustion may set in.
Once you depart from the station, you'll be treated to a spectacular view from high above the rocky cliffs below. The cabin's large windows offer panoramic views of Sa Pa town, the stunning landscape, and the picturesque terraced fields as you gradually ascend to this towering pinnacle above the clouds.
To sum it up:
-
Trekking time to the summit: 5-6 hours
-
Cable car descent time: 30-60 minutes
-
Altitude: 1,900 meters to 3,140 meters
P/S: If you're an experienced trekker looking to save costs, we can arrange a full-day trek without the cable car. This option typically begins at 5:30-6:00 AM. Please send us your inquiry for more details.
